Springbrook National Park

Pra fugir um pouco do sol escaldante de Gold Coast fomos conhecer Springbrook National park. É um park de floresta sub tropical, com mata densa e várias cachoeiras. Diversas trilhas nos dão acesso a visuais exuberantes, é só pegar o mapa no estande de informações do park e seguir as trilhas. Eu semrpe olhando para chão e para os lados atenta pois há largatos, cobras, aranhas, rs...Há árvores gigantes, centenárias, belíssimas, cobertas em lodo e depois de uma caminhada de 1km (easy!) chegamos a "Ponte Natural", que foi criada com a força da água, formando, também, uma caverna lotada de morcegos; mas eles nem "tchum" pra gente!! Adoro o som da floresta, o cheiro de mato, a sombra, a.d.o.r.o!!


Still in Gold Coast, to scape a bit from the hot weather, we went to the Springbrook National Park, just 30 min from where we were staying. It is a subtropical rainforest with a lots of options of tracks that can take us to see exuberant views. I had to choose short and easy tracks, so we've done some; always watching out my steps for the snakes, lizards, spiders, I'm soooooooo afraid of them. After 1km walk, we've got through the Natural Brigde Arch and it was an easy track and worth to do it. The Natural Brigde is gorgeous and its feature was created over millions years by water tumbling through the roof of a basal cave. The cave was full of bats:) I love the sound of the forest, the smell, the shade. Loved it:)
