Onde quer que você vá no centro de Melbourne, há uma escultura. A cidade é recheada delas:) Estes sinos na foto acima são chamados de "Federation Bells", são 39 sinos programados por computador para tocarem três vezes ao dia. Se você compõe música pode ter sua composição programada para tocar lá, esteja você aonde estiver no planeta, daí dá pra se imaginar a diversidade de músicas:)
A maioria das esculturas são permanentes, mas existem também as temporárias. Todas bem cuidadas, intactas, lindas. Aqui outras bacanas:
Every where you go in Melbourne city you see a sculpture. The first picture posted here is about a very interesting one, it is called "Federation Bells" there are 39 upturned bells programed, by computer, to play 3 times a day. Anyone, from anywhere in the planet, can have they composition playing there, so you can imagine the diversity of what you can listen:) I guess I have to do another post displaying photos of another sculptures, there are so many and they are all gorgeous and it makes the city itself an entertaining place to be. Some of them are permanent some are temporary. All the photos above I've taken myself:)

Também gosto das esculturas da cidade, e o fato de serem bem conservadas e raramente vandalizadas.

Acho bem bacanas essas esculturas modernas, pois me lembra muito Brasília! Fico com uma saudade imensa da minha cidade quando vejo suas fotos!!

It reminds me Prague. In Prague there is a lot of sculptures also and it looks nice. It brings something different into the city and what to look at and enjoy. These are very nice! Thank you for sharing it with us.
I don't think there is that many sculptures in Boston. At least I can't remember that many. :) At least nit modern once but I might be wrong. Somebody correct me? :)

Maneiríssimo, Polly ! Esculturas modernas esquisitas formando interferências urbanas excessivas, você praticamente tropeça nelas e isso cria um ambiente de poluição visual tremendamente estressante e enlouquecedor !

i looked at your photos. you are good with your camera. there is not these kinds of sculptures in boston. we have lots of statues of historic figures.in america it would cost too much for something like this. all artists want to get paid handsomely for their work and government won't pay them. so you would have to raise lots of money to commission someone to do something that creative and permanent.got my new glasses and they are useless on computer. i have to lean in to screen to closely. i should have had them adjusted to this distance. oh well i'll try my old pair in the future. talk to you w/email on upcoming weekend i hope. hope all is well. love ya!
