Hoje eu estava navegando na net e me deparei com estes gatos pintados. Lí um artigo que dizia que há séculos a pintura em gatos é praticada no oriente (nunca ouvi falar sobre isto) e agora os ricos no ocidente estão pagando fortunas para terem seus gatos pintados e, para isto, são usados pincéis especiais e tinta não tóxica.
A matéria também dizia que há até os estilos de pintura como Classicismo Nouveau, Neo Totenismo e Avant Funk e que esta pintura é considerada arte e que além da questão da estética há a questão ética (?), quem quiser saber mais tem até livro publicado sobre o assunto "Por que pintar gatos: A Ética da Estética Felina, em tradução livre, de Burton Silver e Heather Busch. Gente...eu achei isto bizarro demais!!! na minha opinião isto é hor-ro-ro-so, coitado dos gatos...a minha curiosidade é saber se é algo permanente ou não. Este de vermelho, tadinho, foi o mais afetado coitado :(
~*Bizarre*~Today, I've read an article about painted cats and they said that this is one thing that, for few centuries, is happening in the east and now the rich people in the west, are paying fortunes to have they cats painted, as you can see in the photos above. For that, they are using special brushes and non toxic paint. The article also said that there is a paint style as a New Classic, Neo Toten and Avant Funk and they consider it not only as an art but an ethic thing too, as you can find out more in the book "Why Paint Cats: The Ethics of Feline Aesthetics" Burton Silver and Heather Busch. I thought that was very very bizzare! In my opinion it is ultra-mega-hiper UGLY. I feel sorry for the cats and I'm still curious to know if it is permanent or not. I reckon the white and red cat is the most ugly one, poor cat :(

hey p, where do you find these things to blog about. it's very imaginative but i wonder if this does not fall somewhat into the "abuse of animals" category.i am not shocked however by this new art form. bring on the dogs and goldfish. how about a whale?

But more bizarre than this, it will be when they use the same technique on gold fish, as per Robert's suggestion hehehe!
